Yarn Dyeing Giveaway

Let’s Dye Together!

Yarn Dyeing Giveaway

I still have lots of yarn from our sheep, and am ready to start dyeing yarn again this summer. Want to join me? You can pick out the colors you’d like, we’ll dye the skeins together, and you can take two skeins home with you. It’s fun, easy, and the colors always surprise me. We’ll do it outside so we can safely distance ourselves if still necessary.

Where? The backyard of our home, which is in Red Wing, Minnesota. Meals and accommodations are not included, but you will have the use of a bathroom. And we’ll have chairs for sitting and dogs for petting.

When? You choose. July, August, or September. Morning or afternoon. The process usually takes about 2 to 3 hours and we have a place outside that is out of the weather.

To be entered for this random drawing, head to my website contact page before midnight CT Friday, April 16, 2021, and check the “yes” box to be notified when a new blog article is posted (twice monthly) or we have occasional news or a giveaway. Then click the “yes” box for the “yarn dyeing” giveaway and—voilà!—you are entered in the drawing. We’ll select one name for this giveaway.

The Big Pivot

About Me

After twenty-five years on the farm, I’m adjusting to the adventures of city life. Part of that adjustment is figuring out what I want to write about now, since sheep are no longer part of my daily life. I’m challenging myself creatively by painting with pastels and playing the ukelele as I seek my new writing path.
